Le Bleus De Ramville and Delicatessen review
Le Bleus De Ramville is portrayed as a sports film, the opening of the film shows this
when there is a man with lots of protection on and he pulls out an ice hockey
jersey which indicates the film is going to involve ice hockey.
The film “Delicatessen” had a different genre to “Le
Bleus De Ramville”. In this case, the genre
was horror. The film built up the tension of the viewers from start to finish
and the properties of the opening made it clear that it was a horror was at the
very start as there is a man trapped in a bin. In addition, there was also a
man with a large knife and a scary smile which creeps out the audience and
sends shivers down their spines.
Textual analysis of the genre codes and conventions needs to be more analytical than this.
